Understanding Service-Learning I (Module 1, Webinar 1)

The focus of this initial webinar is on establishing a context for mutual introduction and gaining an initial understanding of Service-Learning (S-L).

You will gain insight into the significance of S-L in education, discerning its distinctions from alternative teaching methods. An exploration into the construction of S-L to meet the three fundamental psychological human needs will be offered. Moreover, you will be able to delve into understanding the quality benchmarks and various stages involved in implementing S-L projects.

Participants who complete at least modules 1 and 2 will receive a certificate from the New Horizons Foundation on behalf of all partner organisations.
